The Daily Shoot assignment for 2010/09/20:
Make a photograph of something that is soft, or at least looks that way. Convince the viewer of the softness.
I don't know what these plants are called, but when I seen the feather buds I knew this was the shot for today's assignment!

SugarPup was ready bright and early to go to the playground in a nearby park... she loved climbing and being outside on a beautiful day!

Had a wonderful afternoon at the beach in Long Branch. Found Pier Village, never knew it was there. Nice place to walk, shop and grab lunch.

256/365 Spotted Fever
Poor Jeero and Ox! Ox wasn't feeling too well and wouldn't even eat the cookies I brought him, then I noticed spots developing he said "I no feels too goods, I thinks I needs a doctors!" Then I noticed Jeero was beginning to gets the same spots... poor guys! I contacted the Pretty Ugly Transportal and they said it looks like they have to return to Ugly World for treatment. According to the Ugly Healths Dept. Jeero and Ox need to get medical attention right away!

Lake Papaiannia - The Storm
In pursuit of the photo of the day I took a quick detour on the way home this afternoon. With The Daily Shoot assignment in mind for today's shot I headed over to Lake Papaiannia Park in search of a leading trail.
As I spent a few minutes at the park I noticed a storm just rolling right in from the northwest, with quick moving clouds that were just rushing right in.
The reflection on this little lake caught my eye... and despite the impending storm the water was pretty calm.
Within feet of where I stood was the signs of warmer, brighter summer days
A lakeside table for a picnic lunch or late afternoon snack,
A bench to relax and take in the view of the lake and it's surroundings. There is a trail around the lake that is used frequently by the town residents and leashed dogs on their daily walks. Maddox has had fun walking the trail in the past, it time to take him back!

SugarPup examines the video card to the office computer, seems there was a loud POP! and a little while later the monitor went a little crazy. "I think these exploded capacitors are the culprit" Good find SugarPup, I couldn't agree more!

As I walked into the office this morning I was surprised to see SugarPup sitting on the conference room table. When I asked what she was doing said she was practicing holding meetings. "I don't want to be stuck just working in the office all the time, if I get good at meetings I'll be able to go out to meet clients with you!"
