The view from my car window this morning. While I haven't really had time to go out and shoot with my Nikon D40, I've been carrying around a Canon A590 IS point and shoot so I capture things on the go. This morning was the perfect instance, the D40 is safely in the house but I got this as the car was warming up. What a messy morning hear in central NJ, another month and a half til spring.
The weather has been cold and snowy, and I just haven't had the opportunity to take my camera outside to catch the beautiful scenery. But I've still been taking some time to get the hang of my Nikon D40.
I really want to get out of the "Auto" mode and learn how to get some really nice shots. This is one shot inside with a little adjusting of the ISO.
We've been putting away the Christmas decorations, but these guys all seemed to congregate on the living room wall unit. Quite a crew, don't you think?
For 3 years I've been driving past these trees and just recently noticed that the branches are all pointing up!
As I was driving in this morning with my camera handy I'd thought it would be appropriate as the first Monday post, maybe 2009 would be an uplifting year!
Yes I know, Christmas is over and the New Year is well underway, but it's my first post in years.
I'm going to give this blog another try and hopefully it won't be three years before the next post
